Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Rochester Hills, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Rochester Hills is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rochester Hills follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I wanted to share my feedback about Soho restaurant. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is outstanding. The staff are polite and professional, and I particularly appreciate the older gentleman who works there. I frequently visit for the sashimi, which is always fresh, generously portioned, and expertly prepared. A few of my favorite Korean dishes on the menu are the spicy pork, the Korean ribs, and the yukgaejang. I prefer the yukgaejang extra spicy, and the kitchen always prepares it perfectly with a generous amount of broth, vegetables, and meat. Whether dining in or ordering carry-out, it remains one of my favorite places to eat.

Iβve visited this restaurant many times over the years, and the main reason I continue coming back is the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been disappointing, and in my experience, it has gotten worse with each visit. The staff have often been unprofessional, unfriendly, and disrespectful. The level of service is well below what I would expect, especially considering the prices. On my most recent visit, I dined with my family. There were only two adults, and the rest were young children, all under six years old, with two of them sitting in high chairs. Despite this, we were automatically charged a 20% gratuity on a bill of approximately $180. I found this difficult to understand, especially since there were only two adults at the table and the service we received certainly did not justify an automatic gratuity. If someone asked why I continue to return despite these experiences, the answer is simple: the food is excellent. However, great food alone cannot continue to make up for consistently poor customer service. This restaurant used to provide a much better overall experience, but unfortunately, every visit seems to be worse than the la

Excellent sushi and entrees. Best fried rice Iβve ever had. Ambiance is intimate, quiet, and perfect for a date. Prompt service and our waters were always full. Will definitely be back.

Awesome food and always fresh! You can get a whole variety of food here and I haven't found anything so far that I didn't like. The service is first class and the decor and vibe of the restaurant is amazing. I would highly recommend coming here!

The service was extremely poor, as soon as you sat down they wanted to know what we wanted. There is also only one menu for the entire table which makes figuring out what each person wants pretty difficult, and getting somebody's attention to ask for another one was impossible. Once you do decide what you would like, the staff is nowhere to be found. The atmosphere was not the best, the chairs and tables were uncomfortable, and they had an elevator style music blasting way too loud. I couldn't hear the person across the table from me at all. The sushi selection was not great and what we did order didn't seem to be the freshest or even sliced in the best manner and was definitely overpriced for what we got. We ordered the shrimp and calamari tempura, with two pieces of shrimp and several pieces of calamari rings that were very obviously frozen. The calamari was a completely different batter and had zero flavor. The veggie selection was a piece or two of broccoli, several thick slices of sweet potatoes and a top of a bell pepper and it was $18.99. They brought us fish that we did not order but insisted that we did. We ordered a small side of brown rice and it was just a bowl of mush
